The Focusing Power of Rhythm™

“What is the sound of one hand clapping?”
Zen koan

Puela Lunaris teaches clapping and rhythm mindfulness meditation

While nobody will ever know what the sound of one hand clapping is, during this rhythm mindfulness meditation you will experience the focusing power that the sound of both your hands clapping have.

Learn The Focusing Power of Rhythm™, an active mindfulness meditation technique you can practice whenever you need to focus your mind and de-stress your body.

Based on the principles of fullness and emptiness and the dynamics of sound and silence found all over the universe, we use the conscious production and observation of rhythmic patterns with and within our bodies as an easy way to center and quiet the mind.

The goal of this rhythm mindfulness meditation workshop is to practice what Patanjali denominates Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodaha (restrain of the whirls of the mind).

We achieve this goal by engaging the “Witness” in observing the natural rhythms of the body and mindfully creating rhythms with our bodies as a powerful way to quiet the mind.

This is a fun two and a half hour active meditation workshop, 100% experiential. No previous meditation or rhythms experience needed.
